Random lots with RW's

Post by RSSierra »

Just picked up these three lots for next to no money. It amazes me how such good condition RW's end up in such lots being sold with no knowledge. Several Superfast and Corgi Juniors too, an added bonus!

The first lot I saw had the complete Corgi Chipperfields trailer below, that stoked my interest and led to the discovery of the other two great lots above.

Not too sure why the $20 price tag in the lower picture, this wasn't the BIN price.

Cheers

It would be great if the Matchbox Bedford Tipper had the smaller number on it's base at the front, the Blue VW camper needs to have the petrol filler cap and one (or all Three!) VW Beetles with the wrong spelling on their bases and you will have certainly got all your Money back and more!!

Then you have what looks like a very nice Cresta, for me the star of the show, followed closely by the nice deep Blue Transit camper, one of the Corgi Juniors I presume that you mention and sadly not the Husky version which would have been better in my view.

Great little collection.

I think two of them are the Budgie version.

Another interesting lot. Yes, the smaller scale and oval rear windows are the giveaway on the VW Sedans. GPW on the tipper would also be nice to have as would gpw on the Austin Cambridge. The tractor and the Cresta look nice too. Is that a bonus pencil sharpener in the butt of the machine gun? :)

Picked these lots up today.

Overall very happy with the RW's, they look like they have spent their entire life on a railway layout, suggested by the detail paintwork embellishment on a few and overall very little wear. Glad I took the punt on these at $15.00 per lot, roughly 25 quid all up.

Britains Plastic Ford Tractor - apparently the only plastic tractor produced by Britains, sold as a kit set. A rare item in itself.
