The other side of the sleeve is badly damaged but the vehicles look good.

nice Tim...congrats

my story on this set

i got all these models on the christmas of 1965 the year it was released...i have a pic of that christmas morning playing with my toy matchbox...i have another pic of a christmas morning with another gift set a year or two later...it makes me think santa got the gift set and put the models in the bronner drawer style case as thats what was in the pic too
Please use a web hosting site (like photobucket) to store pictures so you can post them here, using attachments makes it hard to view the pictures when you have to scroll to see them. Seeing comparisons of models is hard to see with attachments too.

A lovely looking set.
The themed Gift Packs were something Lesney did really well and are much prized, so well done on getting yours.

I got a battered Commercial set a while back with torn cover and tatty models.
DId a few repairs and slowly filling with better models.

Should be there Pete, might bump into each other. See if you can get to the coffee bar for 10.30 to meet some of the other motley crew :D
