I found an old class yearbook from my school days, see if you can spot me in the photo.

I know you are there somewhere Joe, but the view is obscured, the negative seems to have a crack across it... :!:

Just seen a TV advert for extra mature Cheddar Cheese. What on Earth is extra mature...?

Has to do with how long the cheese is aged for Ghosty
"Extra mature" also known as vintage, has aged for at least 12 months or longer
so, has a stronger flavor than "mature", which is usually aged for 6-9 months.
Perhaps this would go with your cheese

It's cheese that would not stoop to the low levels of my above posted joke photo. :D

Thank's for the explanation zBret, but that is the wrong answer, think about it...

Mature is Mature, no levels of mature exist. It is either Mature or not Mature. Once something has reached maturity that's it, it can not go to a higher level !

The same with washing powder that washes Whiter, how can it, White is White, there are no levels of Whiteness, it is either White or it isn't, so no such thing as Extra Mature can exist...

Is it any wonder we have problems with our Children learning at School when we advertise such stuff on national TV!
