Old model group pictures

Post by Fox »

Just wanted to share some large scale (1/50 to 1/43) oldies.

I'm a collector that is sensitive about colors. Yes, about RR too...

Clicking a picture will sometimes let you go to an english (or french) page all dedicated to the model shown.

Some scarce italian Silver Clouds

Plastic again with USSR models.

The same but mazak made. In fact it's the mould that Modelkopia Donetz, the USSR maker, used 12 years later.

with some boxes.

Mazak too. Italian too. Much older and yet shown on this forum. Hope it doesn't matter

Some other Silver Clouds of the same era. French they are.

Thank you Stephane for adding those lovely pictures of some of your Rolls-Royce models, they look fabulous together. You must be very proud of your collection.

Thanks Kevin.

Proud isn't the exact word I think. These models give me such a joy (they're in my living room and I see them every day I'm at home and even sometimes touch them) that I just want some other collectors to know how they're nice. Or just make them discover new ones to them, as many collectors made me discover wonderful models that I didn't notice before.
Or even shown me how beautiful was a model I just known as a picture and a number.

The best example are the few Matchbox or Fun-HO models I have though they're not the scale I'm collecting.

WOW! What a collection! I think I have a few of those USSR ones but I've never seen those different colours put together... and the complete Mebetoys, not to mention the Mercury and Quiralu, Very impressive! What's the maker of the Italian Silver Clouds from the first picture?

Ooops. I forgot to mention that they are Ingap. You easier find the 1/87 one from that maker.

Not so old but using the old plastic Norev model mould. Here is the Silver Shadow from Eligor.

It's an old picture because I have about twenty different colors now.

Plastic Norev Silver Shadow I also like. Never know there are so many colour differences. Thanks for showing!

Some of those 'ELIGOR' models are Country specific releases or limited edition promotional issues, but its great seeing so many together, thanks for showing them Stephane.
