The SF68 Porsche fitted with THIN wheels is an interesting model to collect wheel mould numbers for at because it has especially made up longer axles than most others and was a mid 1970 release

SF 04b Gruesome, orange-gold body, filled FEF : H 26 - H 48 - H 49 - H 26. Medium wheels (4 mm).
SF 04b Gruesome, red body, filled FEF : D 23 - D 22 - D 47 - D 21. Medium wheels. Letter at 12 o'clock in recess, number at 6 o'clock in recess.
SF 04b Gruesome, light gold body, filled FEF : C 11 - C 2 - C 39 - C 42. Letter at 12 o'clock in recess, number at 6 o'clock in recess.
SF 08b Wildcat, pink body, black labels : D 21 - B 17 - B 47 - D 6. Medium wheels. Wheels with "B" show half hidden additional numbers.
SF 08b Wildcat, orange body, yellow labels : A 55 (written twice with same typo and same size) - can't read - can't read - can't read !!!
SF 14A Grifo, medium blue, white int : K 27 - J 10 - K 8 - K 28. Medium wheels.
SF 14A Grifo, powder blue body, white int : D 53 - D 5 - D 52 - D 19. Letter at 12 o'clock in recess, number at 6 o'clock in recess.
SF 27b Countach, yellow body, purple wd, silver base : B 31 - B 46 - B 1 - B 3. Large wheels. Yes it's the one from Vectis, june 9th, 2015.
SF 27b Countach, yellow body, red wd, matt black base : K 24 - K 23 - K 23 - K 5. Large wheels.
SF 12A Safari, dark gold body : M 32 - M 14 - M 8 - M 27. Thin hollow wheels.
SF 12A Safari, light gold body : M 31 - M 38 - M 36 - 37 D. Mixed wheels, latter being solid.
SF 73A Mercury, met lime body, "55 or 73" base : 5 D - 20 D - 25 D - 47 D. Thin solid wheels.

Chart of what I've found (in black) + what I've read from you on this very thread (in red), so far.
Exactly 500 wheels total ! I didn't take suffix / prefix into consideration, but well here it is.

Thank's Matchboom for your chart and observations. It makes interesting reading with a lot of activity on 'D' and 'E' numbered wheels of the 'Solid' design and then 'L' and 'M' numbered wheels of the 'Hollow' design suggesting constant production at this time to keep up with the demand for the models going to retail market.

Ghosty, is there an overview for all the SF wheel styles with their names? I got many SF for sale and i would like to describe them incl. the wheels type.

Not really an overview and no official naming of wheels, but accepted design terms regards the style of the 'Hot Foil' pattern.

The 1st design was 'Solid' and narrow which can be smooth or treaded.
The 2nd design was 'Hollow' and narrow.
The 3rd design was 'Hollow' and wide.

These are the Three main wheel designs fitted to the '1-75 series' range from 1969-1978.

The 'Hot Foil' pattern was found in Three styles (pictures to be added soon) on the wide wheel.

I will be editing the above as applicable so do not use this as Gospel truth just yet!

I thought a look at the 'Superfast' wheel to Axle patent my be interesting. The image below is the actual drawings supplied to the patent office with all the notes in posted images below that. The original internet sourced document is too large for a single posting so I have had to cut them into smaller sections.
