douglas tipper black label

hi, i found a aec tipper in douglas livery at the weekend, but its got the black/white livery on the tipper instead of the normal, so another one can be added, i think it looks better with this logo, was any more found out about this model, jeff

Yes a picture is essential, but looking on Nick's guide for this model it may be one of the models described that falls into possible 'Pre-Pro' status, so it will be interesting to see this example.

I have been unable to find out anything more regarding either this label variation or the Douglas company (with a view to identifying the livery and logo colours).
I think there is a good chance that these are either code 1 or code 2 promotionals (especially since they occur both as mint and playworn examples), but that remains pure speculation (meaning they could equally well be code 3 models).

hi, yes i cant trace any info about this model anywhere, all i know is the person i bought it from use to live in london area and has had it from new, another site member is going to put a pic on as i am useless at comp stuff lol, the labels are age worn that matchs the truck, its not really my kind of thing but i am intregued by it .
