Help needed with translation

The last weeks i´m working on my new business website and this time there will be an english version for my international customers. I think, my english is good enough to make myself understood, but its not good enough to translate german terms and phrases in a way, that english speaking people will understand and mainly - not missunderstand!

So i´m looking for a native english speaker, who understands German, can check my translations and make suggestions for improvement. Its not much text as i´m creating a website, not a whole book

Is there someone, who would be willing to help me?

I do Dutch to English translations, and finding the correct phrases for specific legal or technical terms is sometime problematic. In fact, in some cases, there simply is no English equivalent! Over the years, I have found a handful of translation sites which are often able to provide me with an appropriate translation of such terms, and I'm sure that similar sites exist for German to English.
I have German to O-level and speak fluent Dutch so, if no one else steps forward, I would be happy to cast an eye over your texts for you.

Its not that complicated - if there are technical or legal terms, they are almost translated.


I use several sites for translations, if it gets to difficult or i just forgot a word or don´t know it. Its my fear, that my translation is "to german" As an example...

In Germany we say: Es regnet Regenwürmer (Its raining earthworms), in englisch speaking countries they say Its raining cats and dogs.

I just want to avoid that people have to laugh at my website texts, where it was not intended or - even more worse - get upset.
