Thanks for the great comments guys!

From the time I first had the idea (actually my Son's idea) to the design and building phase has taken almost two years. I finished building the oak case about six months ago, but was held up when I went to order the glass. The price of the tempered safety glass was extreme and stopped me in my tracks for sometime. But at least it is finally finished and I think it was worth the wait.

Again thanks for the comments!

If you look close you will notice that the roadbed is made up of several Matchbox Build-A-Road sets.

BTW "Ghosthunter" you bring your cars, and I'll have mine. We will have a grand old time. If you are up to it we may even have big Matchbox car pile-up requiring several wreckers, police, ambulances and firetrucks. Sound like fun? :o :lol:
