Wicked stuff again Dave, I love the Bikes and Sidecars, hate to tell you though mate, you've still got the RAC versions to get, the green sidecars are the Police versions.

Thanks Chris. More things to add to the want list.

I've had a successful couple of weeks locating quite a few items I've wanted over the long term. Taking the group shots above prompted me to start looking more into the 30, 36 and 39 series models and picking up colour variations I didn't have. Some are below and some are still to arrive.

Atlas Austin Wagon

French Dinky 2CV in two colours

French Dinky 24N Citroen Traction Avant

French Dinky Ford Taunus

French Chrysler Saratoga in Grey / White. This one is an unusual colour scheme, usually either pink, pink / white or lavender and black. This one in grey and white is potentially a repaint. However the paint is as per Dinky in coverage and finish. The bumpers and lights look masked and are very similar, if not identical, to the other one I currently have. The baseplate is firmly affixed and the rivets look original, if a little shiny. Baseplate looks original condition too if there was an unpainted version on this model, no abrasions. But a google image search doesn't bring up another example. Can anyone help..? Fred7A particularly have you seen such a scheme?

Well done Dave!
Some really great stuff there mate, the Pre War 30 series tow truck is lovely. There's a great yellow / green version too, but it's pretty scarce. The spun hubs on the President are a winner too, don't think it's too HTF, but I had a real game finding a good one. Lovely early cars too mate, right up my street!

Cheers Chris

I have a few more early cars due in a week or so, generally htf colours from a collector in the UK, bought from reasonably crappy photo's, worth the risk, so fingers crossed.

Hi Dave,
Always worth a go if the price is right. As you and I know the thing is with the early stuff, anything can turn up shades / colourswise, so it's not always easy to tell from photos, and SOMETIMES you strike gold. Not often though. :D .

The cars mentioned above and a few others have arrived this week.

I bought the following 6 cars from a single seller, the unusual green hub Rover is probably the besy of the bunch.

Hong Kong sourced Tankers for Code 3 restoration. These are the el cheapo early paint trial versions which all have paint issues on the tank. Easily stripped and refinished though.
