Hi all ,
Have been looking at this model,it has the curved canopy (roof type 1) but also the inner step and reinforcing brace. It appears to be outside of the timeline for this model.I welcome your thoughts. Thanks in advance Steven

Hello Steven
Nick does mention on his listing that additional variations "may well exist" so it seems you may well have found one of these unlisted variations with a Type 1 roof and a body with the interior step and brace.
I look forward to what the more experienced collectors have to say!
In the meantime, congratulations!

Hi Steven, It looks like a good honest model to me, the colour and wear look fine, possibly the roof could have sat in the bottom of a components box for some time before it actually got used, remember Matchbox were only making between 4 and 8 different models at this time so it was more than likely in constant production.
