I guess fairly reasonable in this day and age assuming it was original..............

it looked legit to me Bill!
Looks good to me too.
Is the thin boom and the silver front trim part of the reason it looks legit? Rivets look good. Decal. What else helps determine.....?
Thanks,
Bill

The ejector ring is correct. The base is correct. The only thing I can't see in the photos is if the model has the correct early wheels.
It might be time to start my "Bucket List."

I have done some work on the picture to ad some light on the wheels and to show the rivets.

The 'LESNEY' is not visible here but on slightly playworn wheels it will be hard to see in pictures.
The axle-ends are correct with both small ends showing on the correct side of the model and the front looks fine.
The front rivet also looks fine.

Again 'LESNEY' not visible here, slightly off axle-end and slightly worrying rivet indentations.

I think Tom Sarlitto won it. Nice buy. Looks correct to me.

It looks good to me too, I seem to remember the normal colour casting has a line across the base which the reverse colour does not have, also there's a small casting hole in one of the doors which would authenticate it being cast with low pressure as the dies would not have been hardened until after they were tested and passed as acceptable for proper production.
