Yeah I will admit collecting takes up a lot more of my time than it should haha. And my 1:1 takes up a lot of my time too! But that's the fun of it I suppose.

I get 4 full days off a week, so it does allow plenty of hobby time.

I'm still waiting to get a good condition window piece to put in that one, but I'll post pics as soon as I do!

This is kind of an odd one that I've had sitting on a dusty corner of the work bench for quite some time now. I came across a strange listing for a mint condition green 300SE body and windows, minus the interior and chassis! Only 99 cents, so I bought it. The plan was to turn it into what you see here, a one of none transitional!
Only problem was, the gold super fast version isn't always the easiest model to find, and my parts supply didn't include a good condition chassis.. So I have waited almost a year to find a good donor car on eBay, and I finally got one! So here it is:

I tried a new color on this old Zodiac, I think it works pretty well! Could definitely see this being a color offered back in the day.

Been pretty slow around this thread lately, huh? I had my workbench all packed up with the plans of moving to Florida for a new job, then that fell though and I just haven't gotten around to doing much unpacking.. But I have started to photograph some of the cars I had finished, and here's the first one. A Lesney Ford Thames van.

I don't think I got the color quite right, but I don't have any original ones to compare to, so who knows. What do you guys think?

Oh and I'm still trying to figure out how to remove all the red paint from the wheels without damaging the plastic.
