I don,t often bid at vectis but in the Geoffrey Leake sale i saw the red crawler and the fact Geoffrey had owned it i went for it , Geoffrey,s book was the first matchbox book i bought and used,and i still have somewhere a green hillman minx i bought off him the old way with lists etc pre internet!

So are those Three all yours and are the tracks on the Yellow example original.

Yes all three are mine now,they were all in one lot of the geoffrey leake vectis auction,and yes the black tracks are original,the pale green one is the best condition but the red crawler is very hard to find.

Yes I've heard that said before about the Red version. These certainly have been loved by their previous owners but as we all know, a bad example of a hard to find model is better than none at all...

This is my second red crawler,my first has a bit of overpainting on it,so this was an upgrade lol,gary was the underbidder ,he still did all right though,,sorry to hear about your op ,hope everything works out fine,
