Must be just me that thinks the Firenza model looks a bit off. It also seems to be a bit on the small side for 1:43 scale.
Still, it is nowhere near as horrendous as their Bedford HA Viva van.

I used to drive one of those for work, although older than that shown (M plate so '74?) Bloody awful things.

Some of the time, but they were on the wings on the earlier examples.

Glad this has now gone into your collection. I have seen this around the net now, but have not yet brought one, I usually just wait until I'm at a toy fair.

It is a pity so many models of our favorite car are in Black, the one colour miniature toy cars should not be painted in, because it makes them harder to see. Put a White model next to a Black model and which one is easier to see, the White model and it seems better value because it looks bigger. Could be why so many Fire Engine toys and models exist, they are so easy to see...

According to the book: The Spectre Arises, 45% of Phantom III motor cars produced were painted black; 10% were black and blue or dark blue.
Dark green and black as well as dark red and black account for another 7%.
Most of them formal limousines and sedanca's
So in effect any color as long as it is dark.

A fantastic book by the way.
