I think Bob is in the minority where everything he has described is working together as the manufacturers intended!

Not only is it straightforward, it also appears to have fooled the Forum software into displaying a nice, big image!

I'd got to the point where PB was totally useless on my PC and Laptop. I finally bit the bullet and signed up for the paid version, Hey Presto! Works perfectly now!

I did not include 'Postimage' in my initial little listing because recently they were attacked by some hackers and had links to a porn site, so I would do some regular scanning with your antivirus software just to make sure it is clean before relying too much on them for your picture hosting.

i personally don't like these picture hosting sites, to me it leaves all your pictures available for anyone to access good or bad ....much safer to store them in your own devises

I have been using postimage for 3yrs never had any problems (I have plugged it in to a forum so can be used direct to make it easy for members http://vame.freeforums.net/ )
I don't use Norton or similar AV's . I only have MS security essentials (free).
postimage does have adverts like any other free hosting sites but fine as long as you don't click them. I found there support team very helpful as well.
photobucket is a pain and time consuming to use.
using the forum to attach photos uses up bandwidth so when the limit is reached the forum will slowdown and not work correctly.
