Now and again I check out Steve Beckett's website for the awesome pictures of his collection. There's a scan of a few hobby shop catalogs and the 1961 catalog is quite amazing. Aside from the obvious rare models in that display, there appears to be a red and white 39B Austin A55 Cambridge right next to the tan 30B Crane Truck. Has anyone ever seen or heard of one? I hope it is ok to post this link to his site:

That's a new one on me!

I heard about this model, unfortunately I have only heard, I had never seen it, even to have it in my collection . Perhaps Jason could know more. Also interesting is the model 57b Chevrolet Impala with a dark? roof.

I think the roof is probably in the body colour. (Models without the lighter roof do crop up on Ebay occasionally. Perhaps they aren’t error pieces after all. I’m sure Greg, our resident 57b expert, will know.)Diecast wrote:Also interesting is the model 57b Chevrolet Impala with a dark? roof.
