unknown tractor ID

Post by mattrove »

Can you help we ID the maker of this tractor. Guessing it is about 1:43 scale / Dinky size. No makes name on the casting. Think the axles are nail based. Thanks in advance for help. Sorry could not work out how to resize the photos on my computer.

Hi Mattrove.

I have resized the pictures for you and I think you'll find the model is from the 'BENBROS' range, from the 1950's and UK made.

Thank's Alex, that is close and is part of the Benbros range but does have different wheels on crimped axles, but we can see the main casting is the same so it more or less confirms the mystery Tractor as Benbros.

Thanks everyone for the help. Yes the body looks the same. However, the wheels on my one are different from the yellow one posted. They rear wheels have what looks like a series of tiered circles and no nut type design. Also my one has treaded front wheels. When looking at a few online images the wheels are like those on a Charbens tractor, but the body is not Charbens.

Now I need to find a driver.
