Hello dear all,
can someone identify this ramp?
I did own a similar one in blue, which was a Corgi Toys - but on this one, there is no manufacturer listed.
The size of the ramp itself is roughly 16cm x 5cm
Best regards
Wolfgang

Almost exactly the same as Corgi 1401 except the colour and the tread plates are different.
Maybe a very early version or a rip off copy.

Re: Corgi or Dinky or...?
I believe the Red version is from Corgi but not marketed under the Corgi Toys 'Brand' name. It may have been for one of the outlets that Mettoy/Corgi had contracts with to supply toys such as the 'BHS Group'.
The base does or should at least have MADE IN GT BRITAIN cast onto it's surface.
When this became part of the Cori Toys range it seems to have had some re-tooling as several details can be seen to be different between the Two models.

Re: Corgi or Dinky or...?
Sorry to resurrect an old post, but since I'm new here...
The red Mettoy Service Ramp originally came in a tin Mettoy Service Station playset. It was later modified for inclusion into the then-new Corgi Toys line. The service Ramp and the CWS promo van were the only two pre-Corgi castings brought over to be Corgi Toys models.
