No sorry Daz, I don't. I could look in the local comms directory, but the chances are they won't be in there because most People now use portable phones so there is no need to be in a book anymore... :D

Hi all.
Well,
After a five year love affair it is with a heavy heart I have to say my beloved BMW 320i convertible has departed from my life.
Being parked less than 100 metres from the sea has done it no good and the wheel arches have started to bubble with rust,
It had a few minor problems but it still drove like a new car despite turning 20 years old this year.
Also I was fed up with replacing burst tyres and getting the cracks in the 18" alloys welded up every time I hit a pothole,
This year I spent £600 in wheel repairs or burst tyres so it makes me wonder where the road tax money and various fuel taxes is being spent because it isn't on the roads thats for sure.
Plus I was ripped off by my insurer not once but three times,
Thank you very much Royal & Sun Alliance, if a private individual acted the way your company did they would be in jail. I sincerely hope you go broke.
So what have I bought for a replacement.
You may well ask.
Well,
it has two wheels.
And a BSA badge is fitted to the front
shiny gold paint.
A Chopper
Nearly its this.

F**k Nick what has happened to you, all that's missing is a basket on the front and some multi coloured streamers on the ends of the handlebars. You have been officially unfriended :? :? I can't possibly be seen hanging out with someone who rides a girls bike

Does each one come with a section of brick wall or fencing to help prop it up...

I think one of those front wicker baskets would suit you Nick especially in the salty sea air. You could put your woman's weekly in it after you visit the newsagent.

I think its a neat vintage bike! These were made in the late 70s. I believe by Raleigh, which then owned the BSA name. They also came in a folding model. It appears Nick, that yours while not a folding model, has the original seat and is still sporting the original whitewall tire up front, so seems it has stood the test of time with regard to potholes. ;)

Slap an electric hub motor kit on it and and one of those bulb horns you'll really have some fun :D

It was made by BSA who then sold the rights to Rayleigh. The BSA is about 35 years old and it is in great condition, no rust anywhere. I can lift it onto the yacht fairly easily and it does not take up much room. The only real drawback is my knees. I can only just work the pedals and the nearest shop is about a mile away. So I mostly push it to the shop but I can make the return journey without pedalling as it is downhill all the way so it barely takes three minutes to get back,
I also have to bring my own water to the boat so I have fitted a plastic box on to the rear carrier. The BSA may not be the prettiest vehicle but it is the most practical as the car park is half a mile from the boat, and who in their right mind would even dream of stealing it!.
