I had to purchase mine from the UK, but very inexpensive (<$20 with shipping)!MatchboxFreak wrote:Ghostie, I am very jealous of your clear glazed Greyhounds!
They seem to be very rare here in North America. I've never seen any in more than 20 years of collecting.
Do others also find the clear glazing hard to find in North America?

The flash definitely helped it out...a bit playworn along the roof and the "A" pillar is a bit bent...motorman wrote:A very clean looking example.

Re: New additions to Kurt's Garage
A very nice parcel showed up in the post recently, thanks to Stephan.
Up until a year ago, I had not seen any Arals in the hand since I was a wee tacker visiting my cousins, so this is a rare treat and brings back fond memories.

That is nice and will display very well. I bet you treasure this single model over and above whatever else you have in your collection, simply because of the memories it holds for you.
Glad you have now got such a good example.
Ghosthunter.

Re: New additions to Kurt's Garage
Quite a variety of British diecast this weekend: Lonestar, Dinky, Corgi and Matchbox.
First off: the Lonestar
I picked this up a few weeks ago for 25¢. Complete but covered in nail polish.
More than half a bottle of nail polish remover later, the Imperial looks much better than it did before.
Other manufacturers to follow
