Steve thanks for posting these images. An historic photographic portrayal of a once great Diecast model manufacturer in its demise. Quite sad really.

Looking back down Lee Conservancy Road from the Homerton Road end.

The Homerton factory wharf were the canal boats would tie up with all the raw materials for making Matchbox toys from the London docks.
This was the only operational factory at the time the photo was taken.

Hackney Common football fields with the Homerton Road factory on the left hand side. These fields are shown in the 1970 book Mike and the Model Makers.

Tow path beside the canal that the zinc used to come up on the barges from London to be melted down and made into Matchbox models.
