Birthday greetings to "ALBION"!

Post by matchbox_n_molars »

I've been exceedingly busy with dental themes so far this new year and I've not been a regular presence here within the VBD forums. I've missed it. But this was a day when I felt compelled to log on and share a quick piece of news.
It was about a year ago that I came to all of you for help with naming ideas for a new Scottish Terrier puppy that we had coming our way. It was Bert who floated the notion of naming the little rascal "Albion". It was a name with both Scottish and Matchbox ties and that was all we needed. Albion it was and IS! Today, June 15th, little "Albie" turned ONE year old! The handsome little hound is sporting a new birthday haircut and weighs in at about 18 pounds.

What a sweetie he looks, I can't believe a year has gone by. Here's a special song for Albion that you need to sing to him using the usual tune:

Woofwoof woofwoof woof woof
Woofwoof woofwoof woof woof
Woofwoof woofwoof woof woofwoof
Woofwoof woofwoof woof woof!

Happy Birthday Albion, you look so much better now that you have had a haircut than you did look on skype a week ago.

I hope your master Greg gives you a nice big bone, and not a Matchbox Toy to chew on.

Greg,
Has it already been one year -- Oh MY!
What a cute dog! We have a "mutt" that is part terrier -- she is cute too and I think there is something special about that breed...................
See you in about a month!

Tom, dinner on Friday night sounds very nice. Count us in!
Nick, yes, I too wish I could count you among those I can count on seeing in mid-July. One of these days either I'll need to finally find my way to the UK or you'll need to find your way to America's heartland. It's been too long!
And yes Bill, looking forward to our annual pilgrimage to Albuquerque. It appears Jim and the team have a weekend of delights prepared for our enjoyment. Come join us for dinner on Friday night!
