this pic shows a very racy bug! .....no no, not the lady in the middle (thats my mom) but the car behind.
my first one. a powerful engine with 34HP. I had to change the rusty exhaust twice, also a teared gasrope, during a winter trip
the front window broke and I had to drive about 40kms to the next garage without shield. You should have seen my eyes then...... :geek:

The first car i drove, having just past my driving test, was in 1985, it was my fathers pride and joy, a Ford Capri 3.0S, and I wrote it off on black ice (to be honest i was horsing it!!!), ( VERY BAD MEMORIES!!), and no photograph of my first set of wheels!!!, the whole experience cost me a fortune and my dad still casts it up to me, I can't think why? !!!!

No photos unfortunately, but these are what I consider to be the "classic" 1:1 cars I've owned:

1971 Rover 2000SC
1969 Sunbeam Rapier Fastback
1974 Sunbeam Rapier Fastback
1988 Audi 80 Quattro

Young family these days has ended my ownership of old 1:1 cars for a while...

Cheers,
Gavin

There are lots of classic cars already available in Denmark, too many really nice motors to choose from whenever I look, and i prefer these days to collect small scale already having my old trio of Morris Marinas and 1984 VW LT31

A restored MG roadster cost around 15.000£ in DK you get those for 6-7000£ in Germany. I have had many cars and you can allway find a better, faster, nicer and cheaper in germany. Yes old marinas and "normal cars" from 70-80 you can get cheap. But I will never buy a sportscar here.
