No 47 commer ice cream van question

Hi everyone

Just a question please which I know plenty of you will probably know, if the man has no ice cream in his hand does this mean it's missing/damaged, or is there any variations which it is supposed to be missing.

I was just wondering because my example the man's hand doesn't look like it ever held one.

Hi Lee,

I have one of these too and I think it happend during manufacturing of the part.
Likely the pressure or the temperature during injection in the mold was too low and the melted plastik didn´t make it through the narrow area under the ice cream wafer.

This is a very good question with a very good plausible answer from "Malibu".

There do seem to be several examples in existance and so far I don't think it is a recognised variation, but if enough are found from different sources, then it will have to be noted on the code listings.

Thankyou for your message, and that's something I didn't consider, it's a very good explanation for the missing ice cream and I reckon very probable.

Thankyou for your message and I have added a picture of mine with the missing ice cream, as you can see there is a really small nick where the ice cream should be, surely by other models I've looked at the cone is pretty thick, so would definitely damage the man's hand by removing it.

Maybe Stephan's is the same as mine, sorry about the photos I used my flash to show it more clearly.
