Hi Daz. Are you saying the real Humber is yours or just the model and why do you say the repaint did not go as well as you hoped, looks pretty good to me!

Yes the real one I mine, Its a recent purchase :D Been after one for ages. not perfect but good enough for a few years vintage shows before needing work.

The roof on the Dinky needs spraying. I brushed it on and the side lines are wobbly :lol: The old eye sight and un steady hands are difficult to work with :lol: I will have another go when I get more time. the wife said she wants her camper van fixed for next years shows :shock: :(

What a beauty that Humber Hawk is. A lovely elegant car, and Dinky made a nice job of it too. Your repaint looks very presentable in the photo.

Have you tested your friends with "find the fuel filler cap" on the Hawk? :D

:lol: that was the first thing the seller asked when I turn up to look at it. lucky I remembered from my dads. if i didn't know and wasn't told, I would still be at the petrol station :D
