It will need to be 'Post Watershed' then Ghosty, we wouldn't want you scaring any children would we?

Could Reg not do it?
 You are naughty! I can hear the announcer already, "The following programme contains disturbing scenes and viewer discretion is advised."

I don't see tv shows involving our hobby over here in Canada except the odd "road show" or "pickers" where toy cars show up. I find them extremely annoying as the people who want to have the items valued as well as the people providing the values have little knowledge regarding what they are talking about.

As pointed out previously, there are a lot of collectors who post videos on YouTube that I like. But basically just people showing their collections.

It is true, in my opinion, that younger generations are not into our hobby nearly as much. After all, the young ones today don't seem to play with cars much beyond the age when they can navigate a phone, ipod or tablet. There are many younger collectors but I seem to notice that their interest does not go quite in depth as older collectors such as colour schemes, wheel variations, etc. (I myself am guilty)

The most interesting coverage I see on our hobby is right here on these forums :D :D :D

Maybe we should create our own tv shows and post them here :D

Some good points there Shane, so here are some questions...

1, What do other forum members think of having our own TV shows and posting them here in something like...'VBDtube'.
2, How many forum members have their own 'Youtube' account.
3, Should we have a 'Youtube' section with links and eventually our own videos in there.

What would members like to see in a Youtube video, thinking about what Shane said of collectors mostly just showing off their collections, would you like a proper commentary explaining the finer details about a model(s) to Camera.

I think members providing links to their you tube videos (or any relevant video ) is a great idea (for those who have created any). But I expect those who have worked on them probably have already shared the links to proudly show off ?????

Earlier in this thread, one of our members said they would not appear on the UK's 'Bargain Hunt' and as I write this it is being broadcast on the BBC. It started at 12.15pm and by 12.31pm, the word 'Quirky' was said 7 times!!!

What utter crap this program is, so I won't be appearing on it either Alex...
