19b MGA question

Post by BillF »

So I picked up this 19b MGA with metal wheels and it's only listed in Nick's guide to have the steering post. This one has metal wheels and no post. What do you guys think?

Thanks

Bill

Hello Bill.

You will have noticed in the right-up for this model the tendency of the driver to be missing from lightly played examples. There is every possibility the driver in your otherwise excellent example is not original, as if a previous owner has sourced a spare driver and managed successfully to seat him in your model.

Beautiful model of the MGA Bill. Thanks for showing.

The entire 19 series: MG Midget, MGA, Aston Martin DBR 5 and Lotus F1 may be my favorite of all Lesneys.
Happy hunting!
