I have had a message from Joe and he is fine, busy doing things like building, flying and enjoying the good weather in his 'Grotto', which is really a sun seeking patio with a pool, TV, music and the all important...Drinks.

I told him his forum friends do miss him and that I think he doing the right thing by having a rest but hope he does come back one Day.

How about a very belated Birthday wish from the kwakers family. I am running behind as always Joe, but at least we are still able to run rather than walk!
The American History Museum in Washington last week had a now-retired Vietnam veteran Huey Helicopter Joe with some very nice stories and displays with it as well that reminded me of you that whole weekend. The Memorial Day celebrations, as well as a PBS live Capital performance (Look for a brief appearance by kwakers next to a dancing couple during the Beachboys tune "Surfing U.S.A.") and also the Vietnam Memorial and Rolling Thunder Motorcycle Event all featured many Vietnam Vets and some of their personal stories. Take life easy Joe and visit with us as you can. Your knowledge, advice, and expert opinions are really missed by all of us here. ;) Dick
