56a - Trolleybus - unusual decal

Checking through my trolleybuses, found this one. See "Ref. 56" above the normal Peardrax decal. Could this have been on the bulk sheet of decals and not trimmed off before applying?

The decals would have been printed on a roll, not a sheet, but yes, the ref no 56 would refer to the model number, excellent find. I want, lol
