New additions to Kurt's Garage
I picked up a few Lesneys during a recent visit to Glasgow.
The Regular Wheels came from Ewan via the postal service.
The SuperFasts were found at the Blochairn market boot sale on two successive Sunday's. I don't know much about the SuperFast line but I do see a narrow wheel large arch BMC and the GT Ford and Miura are both new base colors for me.

Hi Kurt,
great models - I like the three you received from Ewan.
He is a nice guy too.
All the best to you.

And here is what I've found at the local flea market this past week.
These are the first Lone Star Tuf Tots I've ever seen.
I will remove the blue paint from the Ford wagon and hopefully there will still be some yellow underneath!

Great transporter, will display very well. The 'Tuf Tots' are becoming quite collectable these Days as collectors discover the fairly wide range of vehicles made, gift sets and colourful pocket catalogues now finding their way into the collector's community.

I'm not sure if the Tuf Tots line made very wide distribution on this side of the pond. I've never seen them before at flea markets and I don't remember them from my youth.
They look like a step up from the late 60's era Tootsie Toys with a little finer casting with moving parts and and multiple colors on the same model.

The tuff tots are nice little models and value is creeping up for good ones. ....it's when they became mokes I loose interest, mind altering drugs involved in the colour choices l think

I also don't really like the Mokes, but am happy to have them circulating the hobby scene as its nice to know these old tools are still being used by somebody.

Re: New additions to Kurt's Garage
We were in Toronto last weekend visiting my in laws and I spent a little time at the weekly flea market.
A nice little bunch for $20 Canadian. One '50's era RW; one SuperFast; two Huskies and one Penny. (This time, the exchange rate works in my favor!)
The 13b has a nice 'father' repair of a broken boom tip.
Then, when we got home, there was a nice package from Stephan with a clear glazed Greyhound bus. I am very please with the bus as I have never seen one before at a flea market or toy show.
So, all in all, some nice additions.

Ghostie, I am very jealous of your clear glazed Greyhounds!
They seem to be very rare here in North America. I've never seen any in more than 20 years of collecting.
Do others also find the clear glazing hard to find in North America?
