Selling to Bulgarian buyers ebay

Post by Lee@kai76 »

Hi everyone, would just like some advice or reassurance and maybe some of you could help.
Has anyone sold ebay items..models etc.. through ebay to Bulgarian buyers and the main thing that concerns me is the mailing address is a storage unit.

Sorry I don't want to offend anyone I am just a little suspicious of the all thing I am going through at the moment

Thankyou for any replies

I certainly would be suspicious if I was selling models to an indistinct address, you may have problems getting the funds for them, that's my view but I am not an experienced ebayer.

Hi Ghosthunter, thankyou for your reply the buyer has already paid me via PayPal for a joblot of superfast and I was awaiting payment for a while, so I contacted him saying I specifically stated in my listings I don't post items abroad and because the storage unit will be forwarding the package's overseas this is the same risk to me so I cancelled the purchase.

The strange thing is the buyer never paid me till I cancelled the purchase and said he expects to receive the models.

After a few messages with him I decided to give him the benefit of the doubt and send him this one parcel against my wishes, and the very next day he made another purchase from me.

I maybe wrong and please no one be offended as I don't think people overseas are scammers but that's what this feels like to me.

I am expecting a didn't receive my parcels in the near future if I send them and having to refund.

Also his feedback is private and cannot be viewed, which I find dodgy but that's just me.

Hi Lee.

Well, if you have the Money I would relax a little and check to see if you stated you do not give refunds, once the buyer has the models the deal is done, because if everybody did refunds, there is no point in selling models to anyone, might as well keep them!

I do offer refunds Ghosthunter on certain terms, I think any business or seller should really but that's just my opinion.
And at the moment I am just getting rid of the model's I bought when I first started collecting and with the money I raise I have just been buying better quality models and improving my collection.

The only issue is that eBay guarantees 'buyer protection' e.g. If the buyer states he hasn't received the item then eBay will refund them in full with no question asked and to hell with the sellers proof of postage. The seller then pays the buyer full costs plus postage and never sees the item sold ever again. What a great system!!!! :? :? :?

That's exactly right selling on ebay sucks, it's just a buyer's market I'm afraid.

I'm having a right bad week at the moment I'm that sick of it I've removed all my listings, sick of the stress, not only have I got wierd buyer klingon guy at the moment I bought a joblot of moy and and regular wheels and the seller sent them loose jumbling round in a big box, so I requested a return because most of them are nackered now and the seller is just ignoring me. :(
