This week's buys

Post by Lee@kai76 »

Some of the model's I've bought in the past week among others, nothing special here but I paid very little for them all.
The pontiac is obviously a bit rough but it will do till I get a better one.

They look to be in very nice condition. The Ponty is good although the screen looks like a replacement but that can be fixed.

Hi John, thankyou for the message and I was wondering about the screen because it's a bit loose, what makes you think it's a replacement? The colour or the shape.

When I take a photo it appears clear but looking at it now it's blue.

Hi Lee, see my pm :) I might have to take back what I said, it just shows the difference an improved photo can make. Looking at the latest shot it does seem more in line with an original, can you provide a shot from the front?

edit: The replacement screens for these are clear, that's what had me fooled in the earlier photo. Having seen the later photo, it now looks original to me.

Hi John, thankyou for the message, I don't know if you have received the one I sent back but here is a photo of the front as you asked.

Nice clean models Lee.
They look like they would be great additions to all but the most pristine collections.
Congrats and enjoy!
Happy hunting!

I like the F box for the Opel - reasonably hard to find.
