Love those models George. Its surprising how neglected the 'Giftware' range is. There are no current books on the subject and I know from being a contributor on Mick Flack's 'Moyboyz' forum, they are not collected to the same level as the normal 'Yesteryear' models.

You might like to have a look around Mick's 'Matchbox Memories' website section for the 'Giftware' models...http://www.matchboxmemories.com/

While the pipe holders were illustrated in ctalogues with pipes, I have pictures of them in their original boxes minus pipes, so unless our 'Yesteryear' experts say otherwise, I don't think they did.

Thanks for the promotion of my site! :D

If you go to http://toysnz.com/Collection and type giftware into the search box you'll get the Charbens item also. I have around another 50 items to photograph, catalogue and add to the site...

I think you are right Kevin - I don't think any of my pipe racks came with pipes - had to use my old, no longer used pipes to make them look right!
