One cannot do much with all the monies in this world but can do much more if he strives toward contentment.

This SF#24 Team Matchbox pre production was one of five sold at Staceys Auction House in July last year and was one of many pre pro models from the Peter Smith Collection which was sold off as part of this auction. Peter Smith was a model maker who worked at the Hackney Factory in the early 70's.
A friend of mine won the lot and kindly offered to sell me one. Needless to say I bit his arm off!! As you can see there are a few very obvious casting differences to the standard model including the open section at the front, no filler cap cast on side panels and rear spoiler is smooth.
The problem is.....how can i top this?
Very nice Al, as you say, will be hard to top that, nice score mate
Well done Alex, a very nice model and with such status as 'Pre-Pro' surely a nice talking point in your collection. Not sure how you can top that, but if anyone can, I am sure it will be you, just you wait and see...
