So how come these don't have Matchbox on them?

From February 2nd 1970, the 'Lesney Products Corporation' was a separate company formed out of the older original 'Fred Bronner Corporation' (a division of Lesney Products & Co. Ltd.). He had the right to use the Lesney name for this which was used for the purpose of marketing toys not always made by Lesney UK.

The 'Matchbox' brand name was still fully controlled from the UK, for UK market product lines, it was not used by Fred Bronner for products he sourced for his company.

I have these but have never opened the package or seen them fly. I wonder if they do.

So what about these? They have no Matchbox on them but do appear in the US 1971 trade catalogue.
They are issued before the 1972 Lesney Products date as mentioned earlier.

You mean I have something you don't! Amazing, and it's Matchbox according to the 1971 US trade catalogue.
