A toilet paper roll more then suggests it has been sitting next to someones loo for days or weeks and often handled. That is yuck!!!!
Maybe people use a special roll of paper that never sees the loo. The thought of someone running into the loo and grabbing a sheet of two-ply to wrap my precious cars in just makes me sick

Re: Wrapped in toilet paper
Whether one calls it lavatory paper, toilet paper or loo paper,i see no harm in it being used for other purposes as long as its unused and direct from the packaging. It has 101 uses and we are all accustomed to this.I see nothing wrong with sellers or us for instance wrapping model cars in it for posting.Loo paper is better than no paper to protect our precious models during transit.Dare we tell sellers never to wrap with loo paper? We should be concerned about our models arriving blemish free instead of focussing on the type of wrapping. Its only temporary packaging and not necessarily for keeps and no harm done if one decides to rewrap in the covering of their choice incl acid-free paper.
Just so u know that loo paper & facial tissues come off the same pulping processes & machines and the drying processes are the same and both are homogenised but grading might differ depending on choice & demands.I actually have quality loo paper in my car,in my purse and on my kitchen top cos its much softer than some facial tissue and is the convenient size for quick wipes.
Unused toilet tissue is much more germ-free than the drinking water which comes off our taps. There are different grades of loo paper from normal to soft, ultra soft & baby soft.(not canvassing here )
The actual cardboard roll is also the perfect protector of unboxed models.
Some sellers overwrap with facial tissues cos they are too lazy to cut to size thus possibly causing bulges & tears to the actual matchboxes.
Just my take.

Yes I noticed that and was going to turn it round for her, but thought I would see how many more would notice the mirrored image.
