Some recent Lesney restorations
Re: Some recent Lesney restorations
It might be time to start my "Bucket List."
Re: Some recent Lesney restorations
Been re-viewing some of your earlier pictures and must say the wire wheels really suit that jaguar shame they weren't done on the original casting

I fully agree with Tinman about the wires under that MKX Jag.
You have handed me a great idea to do a similar conversion.

Sounds good! Post some pics if you do, I'm a big Jaguar fan and love that casting.

Well, I've moved again for work! This time, I've landed in a small rural town in northern Missouri. I'm still getting settled in my new place, but I've managed to secure a little bit of a workbench. It's not much, but it should be enough to get out a few restorations! Have to wait till payday unfortunately to get some supplies, but I should have some new projects to post by the end of the week!

How about another Ferrari? You know how much I love this casting haha. Only thing I'm not happy with is the wheels. I refinished them, and the silver paint bled into the recesses of the wheels a bit. But other than that, I think it looks great!!

Nice finish, I like this casting too. I've never tried it but I have read that a silver sharpie can be used on the wheels, I've no idea if it works though. I wonder if anyone has used one?
