Hi Thumper.

Didcot in the old Days used to be a regular haunt for me, went to the very first event and it was so quiet, it felt like they should have paid me to look around!

If I get to Didcot again, will I see you there as its always nice to meet forum members.

I get to the fairs whenever I can, but I often find I'm booked in elsewhere the same weekend, and can't do both. The next Didcot fair clashes too, so I hope to get to one of Ronnie's other events later in the year.

Toy Fairs are very rare in my part of the world and then more like trash n treasure. Went to one today though and so many hotwheels, thousands of them. I don't know how a store holder can make any money selling them :? Do hotwheels really reach a decent price, a price high enough to make money out of it?

Oh there was nothing like that there, although how would I know!
What I saw was thousands of the blue blisters that I see hanging on pegs in stores for less then 2 bucks a pop!
You do have me thinking about those original redlines now, damn, argh!!!!!! :ugeek:

I have to be in the Buckinghamshire area this coming Saturday, so will be attending the Beaconsfield toy fair.

Sat 30th - DPL Toy and Train Fairs - Beaconsfield Toy Train and Model Collectors Fair
Beaconsfield School, Wattleton Road, Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire.
Close to M25/M40 J2, the Saturday Event for North West London , Bucks and Berks. Traders from as far as Northampton , Swindon and Reading attend with stock , New , Old and Collectible. Diecast Buses , Cars , Railways in all popular sizes, military models, Scalextric. CDs/DVDs/Records and Books on modelling , transport , military and local interest. Excellent Breakfasts from the Kitchen Ladies in separate refectory area adjoining entrance.

I may be doing door duties again, so if you can prove to me you are a forum member, I will give you entrance fee discount... :D

Next toy fair is the big one at NEC Birmingham this Sunday 15th May. Don't think I can do this one as my financies are tight at the moment because Sandown and Kempton park toy fairs all take place this Month and I know Sandown is going to be the expensive one for me, ain't that right Rob... ;)
