Re: catalog list
Won this while in the south yesterday.
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Matchbox-cata ... 7675.l2557
It is a varation of the 1st edtion UK catalogue.
The K21 Police car is a Sedan and not the later Wagon as in the 2nd edition.
The 1st edition UK I had here already showed the wagon as in the 2nd edition.
I now have all the 19 variations of the 1969 catalogue featured here.
http://www.mbxforum.com/11-Catalogs/00- ... 75ncac.php
I have some spare catalogues so sent me a pm with your emailaddress and we can sort things out.
Need a 1966 Japanese one and a East German 1976 one in good codition.

This reminds me on the typical art used in the german Enid Blyton books

I have one of those so now I know of at least three.
Well done. A hard piece to find.

Re: catalog list
Steve, yours is a Swiss edition, while the one shown above and the other one which used to be in Ralph-Egbert Richter's collection and was sold in his Vectis auction in 2014 are both German.
Apparently that O.E.Waldmeier company which issued those leaflets had branches in Germany and in Switzerland. (Lörrach is close to the Swiss border and not far from Basel.) It must have been a Matchbox distributor for Germany and Switzerland (perhaps the only one?) before Edor appeared on the scene.
I would love to obtain one of those but would probably not be willing to pay the amount required, as in many other cases.

Re: catalog list
Hi Steve,
by my maths that would make it two all-
German - artherfonz and the one which used to be in Ralph-Egbert Richter's collection and was sold in his Vectis auction in 2014
Swiss - matchboxkiwi , mboxforum -
Perhaps another probable variable could be if Christian gave one to the mboxforum because he had a spare, which would make the German edition more rearer.
Seriously though i do have catalogue envy when i see your collection.
cheers steven

Re: catalog list
Hi Steven,
The one Christian put on the Matchbox forum is my one!
A number of my catalogues are on the Matchbox forum and I still have quite a few I need to add. There are only a couple I don't have on the forum. It's a wonderful reference site isn't it?
Currently I'm trying locate my spare catalogues as I want to reduce their number.
I moved my model room recently and they were the last things I pack away in a hurry and of course I can't find them now!
Cheers, Steve
