My Mom passed away yesterday.

last wednesday the 6th my mom fell and broke her hip...then developed pneumonia...she passed away yesterday...such a sweet person...greatest woman ive ever known or will ever know...i was lucky to have a Mom like her.

Wow Dan, how unexpected. I am very sorry to hear of her passing because I know how close you and she were. There is now a huge void in your life, so try and take each day as it comes through this difficult time. I lost my Mom at 54 years old of a Heart Attack, but I still had my Dad as my best buddy. We helped each other get through that lonesome time, so it was much easier on both of us. I am hoping you have someone like my Dad to help you through this, it is very difficult to handle these times on your own. Thanks for letting us know here, and God Bless your Mom. I am sure she is now watching over you this time around Dan from a Happy place in Heaven. Please let us know if we can help you in any way, you have many good friends here on the Forum. Dick

I'm so sorry Dan, what a shock for you. I'm sure you have lots of happy memories and as others have said, take one day at a time mate. I've been there with the sudden loss of my mum a long time ago. I know she's gone but recalling little things, events and happy memories helped me and it still does.
