Spot-On.

'The Ultimate Book of Spot On Models'.
This is how model car reference books should be done. It is full of important information detailing an incredible product line from the factory in Northern Ireland, the home of Spot-On models.

It deals in the 1/42nd scale range of vehicles in quit a comprehensive way with the reader not wanting for much more!

A large number of the featured models can be seen at the Brighten toy museum.

I have not yet read my copy, only flicked through to see if some important Rolls-Royce model information had been included and it has, so things are looking good so far... :D

"Spot-On Diecast Models By Triang" by Graham Thompson, published 1983, was the first comprehensive guide to the complete Spot-On range, including item thought to have been designed but not introduced to the range. An expensive book on Amazon (currently US$109), I managed to buy my copy for NZ$25.00 last month on our local TradeMe site. I use this book as a general guide to the models issued by Spot-On.
