Collectors Catalogues

Hi,

does anybody know, why in the '73/'74 collectors catalogue the #59 shown is a Galaxie and not a Mercury?
the correct model is pictured in the '72 and from the '74/'75 issue onwards.
did the photographer have a bad day or was there no final inspection ?
also what is the reason for not showing any gift set in the '75 catalog?
so many questions on the first day, puhhh...

Plenty of folks at Lesney would not notice the difference between the Mercury and the Galaxie so its an understandable mix-up - indeed I have always thought the Galaxie looks like a more modern car than the Mercury even if it isnt!
