happy b-day kay!
Please use a web hosting site (like photobucket) to store pictures so you can post them here, using attachments makes it hard to view the pictures when you have to scroll to see them. Seeing comparisons of models is hard to see with attachments too.

Yes, I'll be back in ABQ again - flights, rental car, hotel room and convention ticket are all booked, and actually I'm ready to go! :D
Macdonald, have you already been there before, or are you a newcomer?

Hi Kay. This year will be my 4th. Missed last year. We actually sat at a dinner table a couple years back. See you in July. Cheers, Macdonald

Oops, sorry - I didn't realize!
It's too bad that there's no way to see the real names behind the forum names, even if you look to the members list.....
Maybe I would have recognized your real Name.

Well, I'm looking forward to meeting you (again ;) ) in July!
Maybe we VBD Forum members should wear an additional name tag with our forum names!?

This is an idea the steam boys adopted a few years ago for our annual get together at the Dorset Steam Fair. Works well.

I agree that forum names could be quite helpful. Perhaps we can find a way to help identify these names for sharing -- I will check in with the "The Gathering" organizers to see what options may be out there............... Thanks,

Good news for those attending "The Gathering" in Albuquerque, New Mexico, in July. We have the green light to professionally print your "boardname" OR "nickname" on your event ID badge if you would like. If you'll provide that name here or send a note to me or Jim Gallegos (jimgallegos), we will see that it gets printed on your event badge.
Mine will be: DurangoKid
Please provide sooner rather than later so we can get the info to our Gathering committee member making the ID badges.
Thanks,
Bill
