A very generous gesture. I'm a big No 6 fan too, be seeing you.GHOSTHUNTER wrote:Dave, that is a nice gesture to pass that Mini Moke box on to a fellow member and Scott, do please show the Marriage here when you have them together, I am a big 'Prisoner' fan and love seeing the Dinky model.

Happy to pass it on...PM me your address details and I'll send it to you. Chances on me finding a mint Moke are slim!
Just keep me in mind when you run across the next Collection with a duplicate you don't need....
Cheers
Dave
I was thinking you could cut the box in half and I could cut the moke in two on my bandsaw....they would look fine on display in the back of the cabinet! Haha....
Seriously though Dave, that is one awesome gesture....a big thank you from Canada! I am happy to pay you for it though....like you said, how often do you see one or the other come up? I will pm you and I will be happy to post photos of the marriage. I will keep you in mind the next time I get a decent duplicate. The river seems to be running a little dry here though lately....
Thanks again,
Scott

Re: RSSierra's Dinky Additions
I have just got goosebumps. Its just as I remember it and I have not seen one of those for quite some time, wish it was coming my way, it would look good next to a Hundred Rolls-Royce models...
Thank's for showing it Scott.

Re: RSSierra's Dinky Additions
now - just to make sure - you are all aware there were two different types of wheel hub and two different treatments of the side panels??... and the #106 casting was also used for a short period for the #601 Moke (identifiable by the aerial hole in the wing, not normal on the 601 moke)? Your Moke is what I refer to as the H-1b version (the listing in Force's Dinky Toys book lists the item with turned hubs only
According to my personal database I have two #106 The Prisoner Mokes and one 601 "The Prisoner" casting military moke.
106-H-1a Normal spun/turned hubs, no side panel treatment
106-H-1b Shaped, cast wheels, side panel treatment
