Two hard to find versions of the 73 Mercury Commuter.

Green body with wide wheels and red body with rare Wildcat label.

Thanks Alex.

Here is a pre-production of the 73 Weasel with metallic red body, I do like it in this colour.

Now I know why I am not a big Military model fan, its the colour, because that Orange-Red version is bloody great and I would collect them and the Military 'Battlekings' etc in the lighter Greens are more pleasing because of the colour.

I like this one as well Rob, I have had a few now in Red and also have one in a red/orange or bronze colour. My ones are nowhere near the condition of your one but I am glad to have one in the collection. J

I have seen one of these in the same red/bronze colour as the Badger - it was a very attractive model in that colourway, a shame they stuck with only the green for the production runs even if it was more realistic.

The only Cat head I have ever seen that I know is real has a Silver painted base. Does any of yours have that base? I say its real because its still in the
blister. It is also the only silver painted base Red 73A I have come across.
