This is 'SARAH' my first Silver Shadow II. She was built at Derby during the very early part of 1977. I treated myself to her for my 40th birthday, as the icing on the top of my entire Rolls-Royce collection.

Today, sadly, she does not look as well as she is in the picture, (taken in the late 1990's) as I have had to retire her from everyday use, but reluctant to let her go completely out of my life, she shares the driveway with my second Silver Shadow II, 'GEMMA' also from Derby. I like my Women from the North...

...and here is 'GEMMA' my second Silver Shadow II. She also comes from Derby, and in fact, 'GEMMA' is actaully younger by a couple of months than 'SARAH'.

as this is my first posting here, I will start with an old love of mine - my late Mercedes Benz 250/8, built '68.
we had a short, but intensive love, which has been ended by RUST (or was it an accident, or a new love?) .....

Good afternoon Broughton, welcome to the forum.

Glad you like what you have seen so far, and hope you continue to enjoy the various mixed subjects to be found around the different threads and topics.

Nice to see one of your loves in life, the Mercedes-Benz, is it something you collect around, or just one of your cars from the past.

Would be nice to see some models as well from your collection, if taking pictures of models is not your thing, then look at some of the other forum members pictures for ideas on how to do it, but whatever, have fun.
