To sad for the race transporter, it looks great with its nice decals. I would just replace the glazing and leave it as it is...

Fiancee and I went on a drive today and stopped at several antique malls and flea markets, something we both love! I didn't find a lot, but I did find some rather good stuff at one shop. They had just bought a Lesney collection!! Had several mint boxed King Size and Major Packs. Priced very fairly at $100 each, but still a bit out of my budget. I did bring home these two for $40 total!!! Loving the red Fiat.

Great couple of models there for that $40 and yes the Fiat with that luggage is a perfect combination, one of Lesney's best models and just look at that regal Rolls-Royce. Looks in really top condition with a nice original crisp condition box.

Thanks! Yeah I love the Fiat casting, was very surprised to find the red one for such a reasonable price.

And yes the Rolls is as mint as I've ever seen a car. Can't find a single flaw on it. I don't normally collect boxes, as they tend to be outside of my meager budget. But for that price I couldn't resist!

40 bucks was a bargain, the mint boxed Rolls is worth the bulk of that and to get a red Fiat as well...great score :D

Got a nice little job lot from eBay, contained 6 or 7 cars. Fairly cheap, but this little beauty alone was worth the purchase price.. All I did was add tires. I got an orange Lotus race car in reasonable shape as well!!

The orange Lotus and red BRM came in the same gift set, so quite often seem to turn up in job lots together.

So a die cast website called Today's Sale was having a sale this week, I was nosing around on their site and came across this... Decided to take the risk and order it, about $10 with shipping.

I've ordered from this site before, they have very nice pieces, and I've never seen one car from them that looked like a custom. So time will tell... Did I just score something worth an entire week's pay, or a nice custom that I probably would've made at some point anyways?

The lighting is a bit weird, but is definitely looks green to me... Opinions anyone?

Yes, does look green from the photo and will be interesting to see what it is like when you get it but at $5.99 you cannot lose and had to take a punt :D
