32B Jaguar E Type
32B Jaguar E Type
In my opinion, the lines and shapes of an E-type are not easy to duplicate, and/or scaled down into a model car. Many model car manufacturers did not succeed in capturing the correct looks. Matchbox however did one very good job, in fact I think it is among the best.
My personal favorite, the one with the grey tires.

Yes, I agree, a great looking model and it was one of my early Matchbox models.Ecclesley wrote:

This is absolutely one of my favorite models and one of the very first in my collection at the young age of 7. I spent a long time finding one in bronze color (photo attached). The clear window has grey tires and the green window has black tires. I would trade all for the real version in your photo! What a magnificent vehicle! Cheers, Macdonald

Re: 32B Jaguar E Type
Thanks for the feedback. The E type is a monumental timeless car in the looks department. Maybe not the best car in mechanical sense, but that all can be forgiven for what she stands for. Sometimes it all comes together in a proper way, like the 250 GTO Ferrari, the Ford GT 40 and some more.
Say E type and my heart opens.
