RW05 C

Post by Ergomatic »

Not far from the Budapest city border, near a main road is a used car dealer, who uses this beauty as office. So I am sure there is not fully seated inside, that is why RW05 C and not D.
You can find it on Google Street Wiew too, jus search the name of the picture. Happy hunting!

I guess he does not know how much these are selling for or it would not be used as an office,
In 1990 bought my bus for £2800, It was recently on ebay Italy priced at £25,000.

Bad news. The car dealer was closed and the bus is not in their place
It gave me happy moments two times/workingdays. I hope somebody will restore it.

Routemasters never really die. This one now resides here in Linz:

The picture is from 2010, but the bus is still there, available for rent for events. RML 2473 was made in 1965.

'RML' being the higher capacity version with an extra 28 inches added to the length of the vehicle as observed by the smaller windows down the centre line of the body.

It's great seeing these buses in use. Of course Mick is the man who could tell us a lot more (hint!).
