If a message is sitting in my outbox does that mean the message still has not sent or the member to receive it has not yet opened it?

It's been sent out but not been read yet, it's sitting in their inbox

...and whilst it's in your Outbox, you can edit it or even delete it.

Just had a thought: if messages are not arriving/being picked up, Members should check that they still have space in their Inbox. If you already have 500 messages, the new message will be held in limbo until you make room for it be downloaded to your Inbox.
